OAP vs Access OAP

Do you find it challenging to differentiate between the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and AccessOAP? You are not alone in this regard. The OAP is a government-funded program that caters to the needs of families with children and youth on the autism spectrum, providing them with an array of services and support. On the other hand, AccessOAP is an autonomous intake organization backed by the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, established to aid families in accessing autism services throughout the province. In summary, if your child has received a recent autism diagnosis, you should contact AccessOAP.
